Privacy Notice
What we process
- Your request: the claim, the source URL or the source text you supply, optional labels and language preferences.
- The retrieved source content, to produce the verdict and evidence excerpts.
- Payment data from the blockchain transaction: payer wallet address, amount, network and transaction hash. We never receive private keys or recovery phrases.
- Technical data: a hashed network address for rate limiting (kept in memory only) and your Idempotency-Key (stored only as a hash).
How it is used
- To perform the verification, to return and let you re-retrieve the result, to prevent duplicate charges and payment reuse, and to account for costs.
- Relevant excerpts of the source and your claim are sent to our language-model provider (Anthropic, reached directly or through Vercel AI Gateway) for analysis. Payments are verified and settled through Coinbase Developer Platform. Hosting is on Vercel; paid-request records are stored in a Neon PostgreSQL database.
- We do not sell data and do not use your requests for advertising.
Retention
Records of paid requests (including the request and result) are kept for about 30 days so that results can be re-retrieved and payments reconciled, then deleted; records with an unresolved payment are kept until resolved. Blockchain transactions are public and permanent by nature. Unpaid and invalid requests are not stored.
Your choices
Do not submit personal or confidential information in claims or source text unless you are entitled to do so. To ask about or request deletion of a stored record, contact us with its request ID.
